How to Quote

First, your company must register with MHIET before sensitive documents and drawings will be sent to your company. This registration will also allow you to receive a password for viewing the ’Parts for Quotation’ section of this Purchasing Forum. The ’Parts for Quotation’ section will allow you to see example pictures, outline drawings and annual quantities for parts Plant is interested in receiving quotations. You can pre-view this section and see a list of parts available before deciding to register your company or not.

Noted on each example part is a reference number for a quotation packet of all similar parts we are interested in buying. You can then contact MHIET by fax or e-mail and request for our RFQ packet (includes drawings, annual quantities, and specifications) which we will then express mail to you.

Request For Quotation Instructions

In general, the standard terms for quotation (unless otherwise noted in the RFQ packet) are as outlined below:

1. Quotation should be based on both annual quantity cases #1 & #2
2. All relevant costs such as packaging must be included in the unit price.
3. Quotation should be EXWORKS or FOB nearest sea port (please specify recommended port)
4. All major exceptions to MHIET drawing or specifications should be noted at time of quotation.
5. MHIET's General Terms and Conditions apply to all purchases. Copy can be found under the ’Purchasing Contract’ Section of this Purchasing Forum.
